If, however, you still have a query, an ideal time to ask is during one of our Open Days, when staff are available to answer questions and show you the facilities and studios. If you cannot make one of these dates, please call Student Recruitment on 01642 288888 or contact Student Recruitment here and we will be happy to arrange a suitable date and time for you to visit and to answer any questions you may have.

Can I defer my place?

From 2008 we do not accept deferred places.

How important is my portfolio?

A good portfolio of work is very important. We produce a leaflet explaining what we are looking for in a portfolio of work. It should show your interests, demonstrate your imagination and motivation. As you progress to higher level courses your portfolio will become a vital part of the interview process.

I'd like to visit the college. What do I do?

Check out our open days which provide the opportunity to speak to staff and see the studios and facilities. We are happy to arrange visits at other times, but you should call Student Recruitment on 01642 288888 or contact Student Recruitment here before visiting in order that we can find out the courses you are interested in, and direct you to the correct campus.

What happens at interview?

We want to ensure that students are on the correct course, and therefore the initial assessment and guidance interview is an important part of the application procedure. The Programme Leader who interviews you will look at your portfolio and discuss your future needs and ambitions. It is a very informal session.
